Japanese Garden at Fanhams Hall

With a little bit of artistic licence and my impressionistic loose approach this is Fanhams Hall Gardens which is very close to me and where I spent a lovely afternoon with friends.

  4. Laura you are using those lovely soft colors I love so much that speaks uniquely of your beautiful work. Those chartreuse greens and soft lavenders are such a favorite. Just so pretty my dear one.

  8. Beautiful greens, Laura! You did a great job on this! I like how you continued the red of the bridge in several other spots in the garden. This reminds me of Monet's Garden...I guess bridges over water with lots of foliage will always do that for me.

  9. What a beautiful spot Laura! I can feel your sense of pleasure in this painting. Wonderful variation of color in the foilage and I love the red bridge. It draws me right into the painting and I have the urge to walk across it into the forest!
